The NJ Fire Museum signed a lease August 3, 2015, for two buildings just south of Allentown, NJ. One building houses the apparatus, and the second has office space, some storage and work areas, and restrooms.
While these buildings cannot be used as a museum, and not opened to the public, they are a great first step in opening a museum.
We do plan to hold an Open House in the spring, once we have finished settling in.
For current updates, visit the museum's facebook page.
The NJ Fire Museum is still in the fundraising phase of construction. Our goal is to establish and operate a fire museum and fire safety education center at Allaire State Park.
The NJ Fallen Firefighter's Memorial will be our entrance plaza, and will honor firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Construction & opening date depend on our fund-raising success.
Want to help? There are many ways to lend a hand, such as becoming a dues paying member or personalizing a memorial paver.
You can join the project Volunteer or Memorial Committees, promote Memberships and Paver sales in your community, and participate in our fund-raising events.
The NJ Fire Museum would like to welcome several new members to the Board of Directors.
